ISLAND OF SAN ANDRES!

In the month of October 2016 I
made the trip with my husband to the most beautiful of the Islands that could
be known, this is San Andrés. San Andrés, Providencia and Santa Catalina is the
name of the Archipelago, being San Andres the largest island that makes it up,
it is 700 kilometers from the continental coast of Colombia, so the form of
travel is by plane trip that lasts approximately 1.5 hours
San Andres is an island paradise,
its crystalline sea also called the sea of the 7 colors. Its climate is warm,
its temperature is close to 30 degrees Celsius, fortunately there is something
that can not be improved by anything heat. For the time that traveled just was
passing through the area the tail of Hurricane Matthew which caused the mother
to go up and close some tourist destinations like the island of Johnny Cay,
however, a few days later they opened it and we were able to enjoy the
pleasures of the island.
During the days we were there, we
did other tourist activities, we knew the blowhole that was always
"active" thanks to the strong tides, also the island of Johnny Cay,
the aquarium, the cave of Morgan, among others. Snorkeling and diving. Snorkel
and snorkel. Snorkel and snorkel.
In regards to the food, it is
very varied your typical dish is known as Rondón consists of a filet of sin,
snail, cassava, name, pork tail, cooked banana, cooked in coconut milk with
pepper. A part of this delicious dish that other preparations based on snails,
lobsters, shrimps, crabs, trout and others.
We went to San Andrés with the hope and the certainty of being able to enjoy their culture, so we hope to be able to dance the music thah characterizes them, when we went to look for the recommended place... I did not provide the service!! Oh God!! We forgot that they were elections (referendum) so we had to leave it for a next opportunity.
